My VAT - Application for VAT refund for citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Easily scan your fiscal receipts to get a 20% VAT refund on purchased Macedonian goods and services, or 10% for other goods and services, from the calculated tax stated on the fiscal receipt.

This opportunity for a partial VAT refund is available to all citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia aged 15 or older who are registered or will register in the Public Revenue Office (PRO) system at ujp.gov.mk.

The application currently supports two types of barcode scanners:

1. Basic
   • Scans directly above the code only
2. Advanced
   • Optimized for DataMatrix
   • High-Speed Scanning: Industrial Scanning Algorithm
   • Omni-directional scanning for 360 degrees
   • Scans at an angle of up to 45 degrees
   • Patterns recovery for damaged codes

To change the type of barcode scanner, do so in the Profile screen.

Scanning Troubleshooting:

1. If the camera opens but returns to the previous screen for all receipts and they do not appear in the report:
   • Try switching to the Basic type of Barcode scanner through the Profile screen.
2. The application scans some receipts but not others:
   • It scans best when the receipt is flat. Place it on a table and straighten it. Try holding the camera directed at the barcode for 10 seconds. This method helps scan receipts with minor damages.
3. The application doesn't scan receipts from Makpetrol:
   • Receipts from Makpetrol are only scanned with the Advanced Barcode scanner type if they are undamaged. The Basic type won't scan them.

Common Problems:

1. Slow opening of the application and delayed appearance of the PIN login screen:
   • When opening, the application tries to establish an internet connection to the Public Revenue Office. If the internet connection is unstable, there might be a delay until the PIN login screen appears.
2. Incompatible device:
   • The application can be used on devices with iOS 10 and above.
3. Login:
   • Email and password from ePRS are used to obtain an ePRS user ID. If you forget your password, you need to reset it through the ePRS website. A new PIN is generated only on initial use; afterward, it is used for login.
4. Invalid PIN:
   • The entered PIN must be a 4-digit number between 0000 and 9999.
5. Changing PIN:
   • If you forget your PIN, there is an option in the menu on the top right to change/enter a new PIN.
6. Entering transaction account details:

   • The transaction account and password from ePRS (not the PIN) are entered for confirmation. The transaction account number is different from a debit/credit card number.

7. No connection to PRO:
   • We recommend checking if you have an active internet connection (3G, 4G, WiFi).
